Dr. Aurelian Stefan
Medical Advisor
Graduated from Bucharest Vet School, Romania in 2004. Current Head Veterinary Center of Hope Veterinary Hospital in Romania and Veterinary Director or Homeless Animal Hospital in Romania.
He is a strong advocate of sterilization projects as the primary tool of population control. As the Veterinary Director of Romania Animal Rescue in Bucharest he and his team have now spayed and neutered more than 125,000 (!) dogs and cats since 2006. A number that is not matched by many other clinics! For many years he has been invited to speak, train and participate in international conferences and seminars about population control through high-volume/high-quality sterilization campaigns. He has developed and advocated surgical techniques that reduce the pain and recovery period following sterilization surgery.
